A genuine copy carries a heat-sensitive stamp on the back cover that shifts colour under a fingertip, and a QR code that actually works and opens the house’s official page.
Look at print sharpness: counterfeits blur visibly in colour artwork and lose the tonal gradient in diagrams.
Check the page count printed on the cover, and the sequence. Counterfeits often drop whole sections or repeat pages.
Buy from an authorized agent only. The official price is printed on the cover — a price far below it is a warning sign.
